College & Career Counseling at Credo
At Credo, college and career counseling is woven into every grade. I work with students during cohort periods to explore college and career options, choose meaningful extracurriculars, and stay on track to meet their post-high school goals.
I also host events and workshops throughout the year, including our annual College Knowledge Night and Mini College Fair. I run grade-level Zoom presentations as well as all-grade sessions covering topics like preparing to apply to highly competitive schools and financial aid. Credo also hosts college reps during lunch every fall and welcomes presentations from local organizations such as SSU, SRJC, Gap Year Programs, and more. Check the Credo calendar, the weekly Compass newsletter, and Monday Slides during Cohort for upcoming events.
Seniors meet with me every Monday in the fall for workshops where we work through all parts of the Common App, UC, and CSU applications and essays together.
Juniors and their families meet with me for a 40-minute meeting to discuss the student's college and career goals. Juniors also attend weekly spring workshops focused on building a college list, drafting a personal statement, and requesting letters of recommendation, so they enter senior year with a real head start.

Meet Your Counselor
I found my way to college counseling unexpectedly. I started my career at a Waldorf school as a classroom assistant, then became the grade school librarian before I took a chance on a career change to college advising and never looked back. My master's degrees in History and Library Science turned out to be excellent preparation for this work! Eight years later, I'm exactly where I belong.
A Bay Area native, I've called Sonoma County home since 2020 and live in Sebastopol with my wife, two kids, a golden retriever named Maude, and three chickens. When I'm not thinking about college applications, you'll find me deep in a book, at least halfway through something bingeable on TV, listening to music and dancing, or traveling wherever my credit card miles will take me!
I love working with Credo students and am genuinely excited to help you figure out what comes next, so don't be a stranger.
Schedule an Appointment
With ~ 450 students and just one college & career counselor, I have to be intentional about how I use 1:1 meeting time. I prioritize seniors in the fall, when applications are due, and juniors in the spring, when early planning makes the biggest difference.
If you're in 9th or 10th grade or have a quick question, my door is generally open during breaks and lunch. Email me anytime, and I'll do my best to get back to you promptly.
Seniors 20-Minute Check-in Meeting - fall only (required): The calendar below opens for scheduling in mid-August.
Juniors 1:1 Family College & Career Meeting - spring only (required): The calendar below opens for scheduling in mid-November.
Not sure if you need an appointment? Email me or pop into my office. If my door is open, I'm available!
